从上面两句话中，我们可以看出，tie和draw都可以用来表示“平局”。比如我们可以用“A and B play to goalless/scoreless draw”来表示“A队与B队战平”。
同时，draw和tie也可以直接用作动词表达“战平”。比如说：A match between former champions produced an opening day World Cup dud, with France and Uruguay drawing 0-0.
