电子邮件中出现这6种错误，让你显得非常不专业
在工作中，我们常常需要写邮件沟通事情进展。特别是外企中，英文邮件已经成为重要的一部分。
但是，很多人在写英文邮件的时候，常常出现一些“常识性”的错误，让人觉得非常unprofessional……

01 句子过长，且没有停顿和标点
中国人学英语，往往觉得句子越长，越能展示水平。所以中国人为了显示自己实力，特别喜欢从句套从句，用各种复杂句式。
但商务英语最主要的特点是简单实用，连篇累牍的长句子反而给人压迫感。
比如下面这种看似很厉害的句型，其实老外很讨厌。
We wish to inform you that the weather is bad so our shipment will be late and now we are trying to get in touch with the shipping company to see what they can do to make sure the delivery comes on time therefore we hope it will not cause any problems for you.
这是因为做生意的人争分夺秒，哪有那么多闲情逸致分析复杂的句法结构，所以商务语言，结构分明，言简意赅就好。
02 语言不正式
网络时代，大家都喜欢用互联网语言。但是，在商务邮件中，特别是给老板、主管、客户的邮件中可不要出现这类语言。
毕竟互联网语言不是很正式，而如果给客户的邮件中这样的字眼太多，会让人觉得你很随便，不专业。
比如;
Pls B there B4 6 pm. TY.
请在下午6点前到那儿，谢谢。
但在正式邮件里，这种用法显得很不正式。
03 一句话包含多个意思
中文语言是典型的“意合”语言，有时候没有明显的逻辑和衔接，一段话里杂糅进很多层意思。
所以，在英文写作中，中国人写的句子有时缺乏逻辑，语句之间没有层次感，比如：
You are invited to our project meeting at 3 pm to discuss our weekly progress. The samples will not arrive in time for our sales launch next month. John is still waiting for your customer survey forms to write his report.
但这样的中式写作在商务英语中是没法接受的，因为英语讲究逻辑清晰，层次鲜明，一段话最好只表达一个中心意思。因此，上面这句话可以改成：
You are invited to our project meeting at 3 pm to discuss our weekly progress.
The samples will not arrive in time for our sales launch next month.
John is still waiting for your customer survey forms to write his report.
04 重复用词过多
重复使用一个单词也是商务英语写作的大忌。比如下面这句：
The shipment has been delayed due to bad weather, but we are not sure when the shipment will arrive.
其实，只要小小修改下，善用代词、或者使用同义词就能解决这个问题，如：
The shipment has been delayed due to bad weather, but we are not sure when it will arrive.
05 单词拼写错误
单词拼错也会让你显得非常不专业，比如：
We didn’t expect to recieve so many orders this year.
这里的recieve就拼错了，虽然看起来很像，但正确拼写应该是receive
如果你平时用电脑写作，可以用word来检查字有没有拼错。
下面是商务英语中最容易拼错的10个单词，一起来看看如何避免中招。
1. separate
错误拼写: seperate
记忆法则: There’s a rat in sep-a-rate.
2. definite
错误拼写: definate
记忆法则: 记住最后一个音节是nite.
3. calendar
错误拼写: calender
记忆法则：多级几遍吧，没啥办法。
4. misspell
错误拼写: mispell
记忆法则: spell+前缀mis，缺一不可。
5. privilege
错误拼写: privlege
记忆法则: 这个词是3个音节，区分i和e即可。
6.argument
错误拼写: arguement
记忆法则: 都去开撕了，那里还管得了e
7. judgement
错误拼写: judgment
记忆法则: 法官需要全面考虑，少了e可不行。
8. consensus
错误拼写: concensus
记忆法则: 记住这个词和census无关，它来自于拉丁词，里面有3个s.
9. accommodate
错误拼写: accomodate
记忆法则: 适应不容易，所以需要2个c和2个m
10. dependent
错误拼写: dependant
记忆法则: 依靠别人，只能做小弟，哪里能搭配 a ?
还有一种拼写错误是混用单复数。
在中文里面，我们并没有单复数的区分，但是在英语里面，这样的区分是很关键的。中国人常在该用复数形式的时候用了单数形式，比如：
We have more customer visiting our store this month.
还有一点，因为在中文里，没有冠词，不定冠词之说。所以我们在英文写作中，也常在名词前省略 “a,” “an” 或 “the”。
往往就出现这样的表达：
This is consultant who will work with us for week.
其实正确的表达应该如下：
This is the consultant who will work with us for a week. （泛指某一周，不具体指明）
06 时态混乱
在英文中，时态是非常关键的因素用来表达事情发生的时间，但在中文里并没有时态一说，所以很多人在英文写作中会写错时态。
比如这句：
The manager is (present) not in today because he was (past) feeling unwell.
在这句里面，动词时态就不统一。本是同一时间维度的事情，硬是被撕裂成不同时间维度，似乎在穿越时空。
正确应为：
The manager is (present) not in today because he is (present) feeling unwell
