这天Catherine遇到一家公司，只经过了一轮面试就通知她被录取了，但是要求她交1000元的岗前培训费，Catherine将这件事告诉了Jenny，Jenny说"The company seems fishy." Catherine又不明白了，便问她是什么意思

C：I am hired by a company that interviewed me only they asked for 1000 yuan as the training tuition.
C： 有个公司只面试了我一次就把我录取了 但是他们要我交1000块钱的培训费
J:：The company seems fishy.
J：这个公司听起来很可疑
C:：Is it a company related to fish?
C：这个公司和鱼有关系吗？
J:：No.I mean the company seems to be cheating should be careful.
J：不是。我的意思是这个公司好像在骗你。你要当心
C:：You are right .I will.
C：你说的对，我会的

fishy和fish很像，但是fishy这个词的意思和鱼没什么关系。我们都知道鱼是滑溜溜的，不好抓住。fishy这个词就是从这个意思引申出去，成了“靠不住的，可疑的”意思
