英语四级作文题型之What类作文题

写作是英语四六级考试的必考项目，要想提高自己的写作能力，平时的积累很重要。下面是小编给大家分享的四级写作技巧，大家可以作为参考。

What类题目

以2019年6月的四级作文题目为例：

Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write a news report to your campus newspaper on a visit t

卷一：a local farm organized by your Student Union.

卷二：a Hope Elementary School organized by your Student Union.

卷三：a volunteer activity organized by your Student Union to assist elderly people in the neighborhood.

以上三个题目，虽然披着新闻报道的外衣，但实则需要大家描述一次参观的经历，写明这次参观的内容“是什么”，因此可以归为What类题目。

一般，对事物、经历、感受进行描述性写作的题目，都是What类题目。

在这类题目的写作过程中，大家需要将事件的开始、过程、结束描述清楚，让读者能了解这到底是一个什么事件。

写作技巧：

1.举例说明。

如果作文中只有泛泛而谈的语句，例如“我今天很开心”、“这样做很有意义”，这会显得作文假大空，写作的时候也会遇到无话可说的情况。

解决这一问题的方法就是举例，利用例子进行说明，更能支撑起你的描述。

例如：Visiting the local farm is a good trip.

可改为：Visiting the local farm can have significant benefits. We can feel the textures of the animal fur, the dryness of the hay, the wet grass and the smooth vegetables from the farmer’s market.

2. 活用各类词汇。

干巴巴的陈述句，放在作文里对读者没有任何吸引力。既然What类题目侧重描述，那么描述的越具体，细节越精准，作文内容也就越充实。

活用动词、形容词甚至副词，为你的作文增添一些色彩吧。

例如：It’s a greataccomplishment for me, knowing that I have turned what could have been a really difficult day for grandpa into a great one, full of laughter and fun activities.
