1: Find some English radio stations and podcasts in iTunes

There are tons of podcasts about all topics imaginable these days: entertainment, politics, news. A good way to find one is to look for a podcast from a TV channel you usually watch in your cable TV. Look for one that interests you and listen to it in your car while driving. You’ll train your ear that way!

五种有趣的英语学习方式
1. Learn as if You’re (Really) Young 像孩子般学习
当我开始学习语言时，我总是用孩童般的眼光去学习它。孩子们的书籍以及学习资料都十分基础，还分成了很多的小单元——如果你时间紧张，这会比你翻一本厚厚的笔记本简单多了。
我最先开始学韩语时，十分钟就学会了数字，这多亏了韩语数字歌的帮忙。接着，我用孩童的书籍和音乐视频为标准，来检测自己是否已度过了初级阶段。这些方法是我后来学习正式韩语的基础。
2. Watch Movies看电影
出发去印度时，我只知道三个叫“汗”的人：舒如克·汗，萨尔曼·汗和阿米尔·汗，他们是我们这个时代宝莱坞最出名的明星。我疯狂的看他们的电影，听他们的歌，这不仅让我的耳朵对印地语的发音无比熟悉，还帮我学习了一些简单的词组。
在泰国和日本，我学习卡拉OK里的歌曲，甚至表演它们，让我会了不少基础的词组。虽然刚开始会很尴尬，但的确在提高我的语言上帮了大忙，还为谈生意做好了准备(卡拉OK可是最普遍的交际活动呀!)。
3. Go Shopping购物
与其在你母语的语境下去当地超市购物，为什么不去城市里面的中国城，韩国城或其他异国区域呢?通过和这些人交谈来练习数字、基本的对话以及词组和礼貌用语。我发现那些卖家(尤其在美国)通常都很乐于和我交谈，甚至愿意帮我改正我的语言错误。如果你想短时间内大量练习对话，这可是个好去处。
4. Use Technology to Learn Like a Local向当地人一样使用科技学习
没必要花钱去买昂贵的软件，有很多免费的资源和app可以使用啊。下载一些app，你每天都可以更新课程，和当地人用skype聊天，或者是和其他学习者用谷歌视频群聊进行交谈。在某些网站，你还能得到老师一对一的指导。另外，BBC有大量的学习指南，供你学习其他国家的文化以及日常生活。
5. Speak as Much as You Can尽可能多说
学好语言的唯一方法就是多说多听，所以把握住任何你能使用其他语言的方法。和异国的朋友们聊天，试试去异国的饭店吃饭，用他们的语言和老板交谈，或是参加语言学习者聚会。即使我在家时我也试着说新词，看看不同语言的发音到底有何不同。记得要改进你的口音和音调——最好的赞美莫过于“你的口音太棒啦!”
学习语言不是正儿八经的解决方法，塔可以是充满乐趣的学习过程。如果你今年准备去异国旅行，别害怕语言的问题。你也许不能达到流利的程度，但是知道点皮毛都能让你旅途无忧了。
