In the first month of the summer calendar, it is called the lunar New Year. Red lanterns are hung in the streets every year and flags float. My parents and I are busy buying New Year's goods and getting ready to visit our relatives.

到了老家，把年货送给爷爷、奶奶，他们就给我压岁钱、让我放鞭炮。等到下午我就回家了。
等到家以后，我一看表，哎呀!春节晚会开始啦!我飞快地把电视打开，调到中央一套，晚会内容很丰富，精彩的节目表演把我逗得哈哈大笑。我心想：要是天天过年那该多好啊!

在我们乡下，吃团圆饭就是吃饺子，我和妈妈开始包。我问妈妈：“包饺子是不是很难包呀!”妈妈说：“什么事只要学会了都不难。”听了妈妈的话我增加了许多的自信，于是妈妈就开始给我讲解，听了妈妈的一番讲解，使我知道了怎么包饺子，不过我虽然知道怎么包，但是我半天都包不好一个。我好奇地问妈妈：“怎么才能像你一样包的又好又快呢?”妈妈说：“像你学自行车一样，学会了就不难，你包不好很正常，因为你是第一次包”。听了妈妈安慰的话，我还是于是我尽量去包好但是我虽然没有妈妈包得好，但我发明了许多新品种，有小兔样的、小狗样的、小猴样的、可好看了。
一碗一碗可口的饺子端上饭桌，我急忙吃上一口，啊真香!爷爷惊奇的说：“这饺子怎么奇怪，有很多模样哦，是不是你这捣蛋鬼包的。”大家都笑了，我和妈妈也笑了。
今年吃团圆饭最有意思，因为是我和妈妈做的。
