i always feel tired after eight classes a day, so mydream school starts at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 3:30p.m. there are three lessons in the morning and twoin the afternoon. we can choose our favorite lessonsto learn. we can spend more time doing someoutside reading. the students do after-schoolactivities for one and a half hours every day. weneedn’t do a lot of homework. we are all happy tostay at school.

besides that, my dream school looks like a biggarden. there are many kinds of flowers around the modern buildings. sweet perfumes arediffused all around. if i want to have a rest, i can lie on the grass, listen to music by the lake orlook out at the flowers from the classroom windows.

the teachers here are kind and helpful. they are not only our teachers but also our goodfriends. the students are polite and friendly. we all know how to keep our school clean and e is no litter around the campus.

i love my dream school. we will grow up to be happier there.

One day, it was snowing heavily. It was whiteeverywhere. A farmer had cut some wood and wasreturning home when he saw a rattlesnake on theroad, numb with cold.

“Oh, little snake. Why aren’t you at home in suchcold weather ? Look, you’re freezing. Poor you! ’’

The farmer thought some more to himself: “Whatcan I do for you? Make a fire to warm you? No, it’ssnowing so hard, and I have only a small bundle ofwood. Besides, my family is waiting for the wood tocook.”

The farmer turned round and round anxiously and then : “I know! I’ll putyou under my clothes, it’s warm there.” He uncut—toned his clothes and put the snake inside,against his chest.

Some time later, the snake came to life gradually. The warmth of the old farmer had notchanged its cruel nature. It opened its mouth and bit right in to the farmer’s chest.

“Oh, my god! How cruel you are! I saved you, but you bit me. Why?” As he was saying this, hetook out the snake and threw it on the ground.

But the farmer was already poisoned and was dying. Only at this time did he realize that he haddone something ong. “I took pity on him, but he bit me in return.”
