Most species can open and close their mouths to pump the water through. But white sharks and a couple dozen other species don't do that. To breathe, they have to move forward through the water with their mouths open.
大部分的鱼类可以透过嘴巴交替开合的方式，将水抽吸到鳃里以获得氧气，但是大白鲨和其他几十种的鱼类却不是这样的。它们必须张着嘴巴向前游动才能够呼吸。
