determine 和 decide 都是“决定”之意，此处用两个不同的词避免了重复。
fate 命运。中文里的“缘分”若翻译成英语也可以直接说fate，例证：
１、富贵功名，前缘分定。（《西游记》）

2、君琴瑟之好，自相知音；薄命人乌有此福。如有缘，再世可相聚耳。（《聊斋.宦娘》）
