给高三的英语演讲1

Ladies and gentlemen,

Welcome to our school! Now let me introduce something about the changesthat have taken place in our class.

We used to listen and take notes in class, but had no time to think forourselves. Because we were not interested in the lessons, we often felt sleepywhile listening. After school we had to finish much homework, unable to havesome sports.

However, things are different now. With the help of computers, the lessonsare so lively and interesting that the students are active to answer thequestions instead of falling asleep. As a result, we have made greater progressthan before, though we spend less time doing our homework. And we can enjoyourselves after class.

The good teaching method is popular with all of us. We will try our best tostudy even harder.

That’s all. Thank you!

The college entrance examination refueling! My dear friend, flat and yourmind, control their emotions, to the normal state of mind should take anexamination of, let oneself try to relax, have a good rest.。yanjiang。com。cn。 Iexpect you to succeed!

"University", a beautiful word, which makes me have much imagination. Asthe name "ivory tower" given by people, it's a good place to live and study. Inthe ivory tower, romantic love just like cherry blossom smiles happily in thecampus.

Many girls have the sweet dream that one day there is a boy who standsbelow the windows loud annoucing "I love you", holding a bound of flowers in hishands. But the most important things is that I can receive the advancededucation systematically, listen to the senior professors experience, attendmany dourses of lectures. To my pleasant, I can be free to spend a whole day inthe library and read every book that I'd like, which makes me find the knowledgeis vast considerably. All these let me climb up in the field of science. At thesame time, the people from many parts of motherland get together. It's a bigfurnace involved dialects and cluture. It's interesting.

I can find a part time job to experience the life, which is a good way ofcontacting society. In short, there are a lot of things waiting for me to learn, this is the reason why we have to go to college.

The past two days are special for the 7.23 million examinees and theirparents. It is the National College Entrance Examination (Gaokao in Chinese)d on the current education system in China, the result of the two day examgreatly impacts the future of any students in China. The score will decidewhether you can receive college education. For most places in China, only halfof the students are eligible for college education (only 3.40 million will beadmitted to colleges in 2003) and the rest has to start work after cities like Beijing and Shanghai, students are lucky enough to have a muchhigher ratio (more than 70%) to enter colleges.

Tsinghua, Peking University, Fudan University and Shanghai Jiao TongUniversity are among the first class in China. But only very few people can gothere.

To enter a college or not, or to enter a good college or not directlyimpact the first offer they can get after graduate and impact their career. Soit is the most critical time for students.

Isaac recorded the "No Honking During Gaokao" sign. I saw the same signnear Henan Rd. and Zhaojiabang Rd.. Not only honking is not allowed. Allconstruction sites around schools were ordered to work in limited time in therecent 10 days. Thousands of policemen are working around schools to make surethere is no noise or traffic jam during the two important days. Taxi driverseven offer free ride to transport examinees and their family.

Someone said “we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of abook, whose pages are infinite”. I don?t know who wrote these words, but I?vealways liked them as a reminder that the future can be anything we want it tobe. We are all in the position of the farmers. If we plant a good seed ,we reapa good harvest. If we plant nothing at all, we harvest nothing at all.

一些人说?我们正在读一本无穷的书中的第一章的第一节。?我不知道谁写了这些话,但是我一直很喜欢它,因为它提醒了我,我们能够创造我们想要的未来。

We are young. “How to spend the youth?” It is a meaningful question. Toanswer it, first I have to ask “what do you understand by the word youth?” Youthis not a time of life, it?s a state of mind. It?s not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips or supple knees. It?s the matter of the will. It?s the freshness of thedeep spring of life.我们都是农夫。如果我们播下好的种子,我们将会丰收。如果我们的种子很差,有很多草籽,收割的将是无用的庄稼。如果我们什么也不播种,什么收获也没有。

Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of theappetite , for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60more than a boy of 20 . Nobody grows old merely by a number of years .

We grow old by deserting our ideals. Years wrinkle the skin , but to giveup enthusiasm wrinkles the soul . Worry , fear , self –distrust bows the heartand turns the spirit back to dust

Hold Fast To Your Dreams

I have a dream today.

I have a dream that one day every vally shall be exalted, every hill andmountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crookedplaces will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, andall flesh shall see it together.

Wow, what a dream it has been for Martin Luther King. But the changingworld seems telling me that people gradually get their dreams lost somehow inthe process of growing up, and sometimes I personally find myself saying goodbyeunconsciously to those distant childhood dreams.

However, we meed dreams. They nourish our spirit; they representpossibility even when we are dragged down by reality. They keep us going. Mostsuccessful people are dreamers as well as ordinary people who are not afraid tothink big and dare to be great. When we were little kids, we all dreamed ofdoing something big and splashy, something significant. Now what we need to dois to maintain them, refresh them and turn them into reality. However, thetoughest part is that we often have no ideas how to translate these dreams intoactions. Well, just start with concrete objectives and stick to it. Don’t letthe nameless fear confuse the eye and confound our strong belief of ugh our talents, through our wits, through our endurance and through ourcreativity, we will make it.

Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird thatcannot fly. Hold fast to dreams, for when dreams go, life is a barren fieldfrozen with snow. So my dear friends, think of your old and maybe dead ever it is, pick it up and make it alive from today.
