　catch的用法1：catch的基本意思是“抓住”,指通过追踪、计谋、武力或突然袭击等方式抓住运动着的或隐藏的某人或某物。引申可指“吸引”某人的注意力。catch还可表示“理解”“患病”等。

　catch的用法2：catch可用作不及物动词,也可用作及物动词。用作及物动词时,后面跟名词、代词或疑问词从句作宾语,有时也可跟以现在分词、过去分词充当补足语的复合宾语; 用作不及物动词时,主动形式往往含有被动意义。当表示“抓住某人的某部位”时,一般说“catch sb. by the+部位”,这一结构中the不能换为sb's。catch作“捕获”解时,后面可以接双宾语,但间接宾语一般用介词for引出,而不用to。
