猫头鹰是一种大眼睛的鸟，但是猫头鹰不能移动它的眼睛，它只能朝前看。如果它想要向侧面看，就必须转动脖子。

猫头鹰晚上比白天视力要好很多，所以它们整夜都在寻找食物。它们喜欢吃老鼠和昆虫。

在夜间寻找食物时，猫头鹰会发出一种奇怪的声音。这叫声听起来像“哇!哇!” 这种奇怪的声音有时会在夜晚使人感到害怕。
