中国将邀请国外记者参加抗战胜利纪念活动

Domestic and overseas journalists are welcome to cover events commeMorating the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II in Beijing next month, the event's publicity team said on Monday.

纪念二战胜利70周年宣传小组周一说到，本小组欢迎中外记者报道此事。

Grand celebrations will be held in Beijing on Sept 2 and 3 to mark the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese people's war against Japanese aggression and the world's anti-Fascist war, a statement from the organizers said.

该宣传小组说到，9月2日和3日北京将举行盛大的庆祝仪式来庆祝中国抗击日本侵略和反法西斯战争胜利70周年。

Overseas journalists who wish to cover the event should register on from Aug 3 to 18, the statement said.

The statement said a press center will be set up in Beijing during the celebrations to provide information services for domestic and overseas reporters.

China announced plans to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the end of WWII in June. The country will invite foreign militaries to participate in a parade on Sept 3 in Beijing.

六月，中国发表了纪念二战胜利70周年的计划声明。中国将会邀请国外军队来参加9月3日的活动。

President Xi Jinping will speak at the event. Representatives of veterans, civilians who supported the army during the war and relatives of the fallen will also take part in the parade.

国家主席习近平将会在这次纪念活动中发表讲话。退伍军人代表，战争中支持军队的老百姓和亲属也将参加此次游行。
