At 6:30 pm last Thursday, netizens reported that some people were butchering a dolphin near Nanshui in Zhuhai's Jinwan District.

上周四下午6时30分，有网友举报称在珠海金湾区南水镇附近有人在宰杀一只海豚。

After receiving the tip-off, law enforcement officers immediately headed to the spot.

中华白海豚，素有“美人鱼”和“海上大熊猫”之称，主要分布于西太平洋、印度洋。常见于我国东海，属于国家一级保护动物。
