1. Expression：lose one’s hair

Explanation：Become angry. （发脾气）

Example：I am afraid I lose my hair. I call the other guy some nasty names and jumped out like he was ready to fight. But then a traffic cop arrived on the scene and managed to calm us down. And it turned out the damage wasn't all that bad.

恐怕当时我是控制不住自己的情绪了，把那个家伙臭骂一顿。他也从车子里出来，好像准备动手。不过那个时候一位交通警到达了现场。他设法让我们的情绪都平静下来。后来，我们发现车子的损害并没有多厉害。

He loses his hair when people disagree with him.

当人家一不同意他的意见时，他就发脾气。

If I become a doctor in future, the first one I will save is my brother-in-law. He is easy to lose his hair.

Explanation：To make someone very frightened. （把某人吓得毛骨悚然）

Example：The screams coming from the old, dark house made my hair stand on end.

When we go camping, every little noise outside my tent makes my hair stand on end.

Explanation：To show no outward emotion when something bad happens or is announced. （不动声色，毫不惊慌，面不改容）

Example：I thought he'd be devastated after losing the race, but he didn't turn a hair.

我以为他输了比赛会很伤心的，但他不为所动。

You have to give Jane credit. She didn't turn a hair when the customer started shouting in her face.

你不得不信任Jane——当顾客对着她大喊大叫时，她看上去毫不在意。

I was expecting him to be horrified when he heard the cost but he didn't turn a hair.

我以为他听到花费的数目时会大为震惊，可他居然毫无反应。
