If we want really good sales numbers, we first need to sell this new product to our current customers.

The hard part is going to be finding thousands of new customers.

On a tree, the low-hanging fruit is easy to pick.

It takes more effort to climb a ladder to pick the ripe fruit from the top of a tree.

爬梯子则需要花费更大的力气来摘树顶的成熟果子。

The same can be said for a thing or even a person.

同样可以形容事物或者人。

Anyone or anything that can be won over or gained very easily is low-hanging fruit.

任何人或事物能够轻而易举获胜或者获得便可以用这个短语形容。
