这个问题你千万要谨慎回答哦。如果你目前薪水太少的话，那么直接回答不会给你带来什么好处。我建议你可以这样说：What I‘m making is not is important is whether or not my skills are what you need，and I‘m confident that ther ange will be fair.如果同时还有别的应聘者和你竞争的话，这样说可以让你不至于处于劣势。记住：过去的工资并不重要，关键是要展示你的工作能力以及你能为公司做的贡献。
第三招控制比例
当老板终于开始和你谈具体工资数目时，你该怎么开口呢？关键句：Get the employer to say a number first.（让雇主先说个数。）
每个雇主在心里对薪水的上下限度都有个数，他们经常会在那个限度内自由调整。他们手头掌握着你所不知的内情。当你不知道对方是怎样想的时候，你往往会自降身价。这岂不正中其下怀？所以呢，在你提出任何薪水要求之前，请务必搞清它的大致价位。假如它低于你的心理价位，你就定一个比你现在的薪水高至少10%-20%的价。倘若你现在这个位置拿的钱太少了，那么适当再抬高一些。

假如在面试时，像“Show us your pay stub.”（请出示你的工资单。）这样的问题让你感到非常不舒服，那么你该好好想一想了。进入这样的公司工作，你会有自由和尊重吗？说实话，你想和一个有威胁你的意图的人共同工作吗？我要提醒你的是：高薪固然重要，尊重也是必不可少的。一份赢得雇佣双方互相尊重的工作才是双赢（win-win）的结局。
