首先，来介绍一个形容词：indecisive：adj. 犹豫不决的，优柔寡断的，非决定性的：

He's too indecisive to make a good leader. 他优柔寡断，当不了好领导。

She was an indecisive sort of person. 她以前是个优柔寡断的人。

Don't be indecisive on the road of friendship. 在友谊路上切莫踌躇。

Decisive: adj. 决定性的，果断的

Be decisive, tell them exactly what you think should be done. 果断些，确切地告诉他们你认为应该怎么做。

The report brought about a decisive change in the whole policy. 这个报告使整个方针发生了决定性的变化。

当你对某人很生气，愤怒的时候你会煽他的耳光吗？我曾经试图煽过一次，没煽着。今天，我们来用语言煽煽某人耳光：slap someone in the face，slap是个动词，“拍击”的意思。

This morning, one guy slaps the other guy in the face. 今早，一个男生煽了另一个男生耳光。

slap up：仓促做(饭)

Can you slap up a quick meal for my friend before we rush to the game? 你能在我跟朋友们赶去看比赛之前给我们草草凑合一顿饭吗？

Slap: n. 侮辱，掴，拍击声

She fetched him a terrific slap in the face. 她狠狠地给了他一记耳光。

Slap: adv. 直接地，正面地，突然

The car ran slap into the shop window. 汽车猛地撞入商店的橱窗。
