暖心! 英患癌女童如愿‘嫁给'好友 办童话婚礼

Many people dream of getting married, but for one terminally ill girl, it really was her dying wish.

许多人都梦想着结婚，但对于一个身患绝症的女孩来说，这就是她的遗愿了。

Five-year-old Eileidh Paterson from Forres, Scotland, was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer that develops in nerve tissues, at the age of two.

来自苏格兰弗里斯的5岁女童埃利斯·帕特森，在2岁时被诊出患有神经母细胞瘤，这是一种罕见的产生于神经组织的儿童期癌症。

When Eileidh and her family discovered her cancer was terminal, she set about writing a list of everything she wanted to do.

And perhaps the sweetest of all was Eileidh's top wish: to marry her best friend, 6-year-old Harrison Grier.

And he was just as keen. The ceremony took place on June 18 at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Center.

Around 30 people attended the wedding and more than 200 joined them to celebrate at the party.

"Anything we can do to make her life that little bit easier, comfier and most importantly magical, then we owe that to her," Eileidh's mother, Gail said.

"She most certainly deserves it. Eileidh is the bravest little girl in the world and is definitely a superhero."
