巴黎冷知识：埃菲尔铁塔本来是要拆的
现在已经很难想象一个没有埃菲尔铁塔的巴黎了，但这座地标在刚刚修建的时候其实激起了民愤，巴黎人觉得这个铁怪物又大又丑，而且和巴黎的风格完全不搭。
当时这座塔是作为1889年世博会的入口修建的，本来说放20年就拆，但现在已经放了130多年了，真香。
The Eiffel Tower was actually only meant to be the entrance to the Paris World’s Fair in 1889. The agreement was that it was to stand for 20 years after, and then be taken down, but over a century on and as one of the world’s most famous sights, it’s safe to say it isn’t going anywhere. Now it’s over 130 years old, but it is still one of Paris’ youngest landmarks by comparison.
埃菲尔铁塔本来只是1889年巴黎世界博览会的入口。根据当时的协议，20年后它将被拆除，但一个多世纪过去了，作为世界上最著名的景点之一，可以说它不会有任何的改变。现在它已经有130多年的历史了，但相比之下，它仍然是巴黎最具活力的地标之一。
