吸烟表情变咬绿叶 手机QQ表情包正式'戒烟'

Tencent has removed the "smoking" emoji from its mobile QQ portfolio. This follows an earlier move by Sina Weibo to ditch the emoji.

继新浪微博早先撤除“吸烟”表情后，近日，腾讯也将该表情从其手机QQ表情包中移除。

The emoji showed a character with a cigarette in its lips, and was activated by typing in "leisure."

该表情显示的是一个嘴里叼着烟头的人，当人们敲出“悠闲”两字时，该表情就会跳出来。

It's since been replaced on mobile devices by a new image with a piece of green leaf in the character's lips.

此后，在手机设备上，该表情已经被嘴里叼着一片绿叶的人的新形象所取代。

The emoji is still active on Tencent's WeChat app on mobile devices, as well as on desktop computers.

不过，该表情在手机设备上的腾讯微信应用以及台式电脑上仍可使用。

Reports suggest the Beijing Tobacco Control Association has written to Tencent to call for the removal of the emoji, saying it is not suitable to promote a smoking emoji as "cool" or "leisure."

报道显示，北京市控制吸烟协会曾致函腾讯公司，呼吁其撤掉吸烟表情。该协会表示，将吸烟表情宣传为“酷”或“悠闲”并不合适。

In September, Sina Weibo removed the "smoking" emoji from its platform. "The act of smoking is not cool or fashionable at all. It's an obvious mistake to equate smoking with 'being cool.'" said Zhang Jianshu, President of the Beijing Tobacco Control Association.

今年九月，新浪微博就将“吸烟”这一表情从其平台上移除。北京市控制吸烟协会会长张建枢表示：“吸烟的行为一点也不酷，也不时髦。把吸烟等同于'酷'，是一个明显的错误。”
