正版即将卸任 中国版的'奥巴马'未来又会如何呢?

As U.S. President Barack Obama prepares to leave office in January, another man – one who shares a physical appearance with Obama – is also preparing for some major life changes.

随着美国总统贝拉克·奥巴马准备于明年一月卸任，另一个和他长得很像的人也即将迎来一些重大的生活改变。

Xiao Jiguo was first told that he looked like Obama in 2008, after the latter was elected and the former chose to cut his long hair short.

2008年奥巴马当选成为美国总统之后，肖基国第一次听到别人说他长得跟奥巴马很像，于是他随后决定剪掉自己的长发，做起了奥巴马的特型演员。

In a profile done by Henan news site , Xiao said he didn't even know who Obama was at the time, but when he eventually saw a picture, he had to admit the resemblance.

在河南新闻网站豫青网上的一篇个人简介中，肖基国表示自己当时甚至根本不知道到底谁是奥巴马，但是当最终看到一张照片之后，他也不得不承认自己和奥巴马长得的确很像。

Later, he found out that even their birthdays were almost the same – just one day apart, though, at 30, Xiao is significantly younger than his American lookalike.

后来，肖基国发现甚至自己的生日也和奥巴马差不多是一样的，只相隔了一天--虽然30岁的肖基国看起来要比奥巴马年轻多了。

Xiao is an actor, but he was a mostly unknown name until 2012, when he performed on a televised talent competition.

肖基国是一名演员，但是直到2012年前他都还只是一个无名小卒，当时他在一个电视才艺表演节目上表演了一次。

Since then, he has had several small roles in Chinese films. He also earns money making appearances as Obama at various corporate functions, fundraisers and other events around China.

从那时起，他就在一些中国电影里扮演了许多小角色。他还通过在全中国各种公司活动、募捐、以及其他活动中扮演奥巴马来挣钱。

Recently, he starred in a comedy titled "'Obama' goes on Blind dates," according to the BBC.

据BBC报道，肖基国最近还参演了一部名为《"奥巴马"去相亲》的喜剧。

Although Xiao makes a living by pretending to be the U.S. president, his impression of the eloquent Obama has one persistent flaw: Xiao speaks only Chinese.

尽管肖基国通过扮演美国总统为生，但是雄辩的奥巴马在他的扮演下却一直有一个破绽：肖基国只会说中文。

"I can only speak a few words of English," he acknowledged in the profile, "so when I do my impression, most of what I'm saying is made-up English. Nobody can understand it."

他在豫青网上的人物简介中承认道："我只会讲几句英语。因此在我表演的时候，我说的很多话都是胡编乱造的英语。没人听得懂。"

Nevertheless, Xiao has enjoyed real success over the past few years. He told the BBC that he has earned at least 100,000 RMB ($14,700) every month since last year.

但是，在过去几年里肖基国真的取得了成功。他对BBC透露，从去年以来他每个月至少都能赚10万人民币（约合14700美元）。

Perhaps it is unsurprising, then, that when asked by NBC what he would say to President Obama if he ever had the opportunity to meet the man, Xiao answered:

也许这不足为奇--后来当NBC电视台询问肖基国，如果有机会见到奥巴马的话，想对他说些什么，肖基国回答道：

"If one day I could have the chance to meet President Obama, I would say thanks so much to him. I think there is some bond between us."
