法国女子中奖后疯狂购物 丈夫发现竟是乌龙

A Frenchwoman who went on a huge spending spree after "winning" the Euro Millions lottery was ordered to pay the huge tab back after belatedly discovering that she had got the wrong the number

近日，法国一女子发现自己“中了”欧洲百万彩票后，开始疯狂购物，随后却发现自己看错了彩票号码，不得不面临被银行催债的窘境。

The 46-year-old, whose identity was not disclosed in the French media, believed she had won a massive jackpot. Within hours, and over the course of three weeks in February and March 2014, she issued a series of cheques – splashing out on perfumes, jewellery, clothes and ornaments to celebrate her good fortune.

法国媒体表示，这名女子现年46岁，但并未透露其他信息，只称她以为自己中了巨奖。2014年2月到3月间的三周时间，她就开了多张支票，大肆购买香水、珠宝、衣服和饰品，庆祝好运到来。

Her spending quickly surpassed 4,000EURO, but with no word or cheque in sight from Euro Millions, her family started to fret.

很快她便消费超过了4000欧元。但乐透官方并没有找过她，也没有寄来支票。这让她们一家人开始焦急起来。

Eventually, the woman's husband got his hands on the ticket and checked the numbers. He discovered to his horror that one of the digits failed to match and informed his wife.

最后，该女子的丈夫找到彩票并查看上面的号码。他惊恐地发现，其中一个数字并不符合开奖号码，并告诉了妻子。

The woman, a mother living in the Doubs département in eastern France, faced charges of fraud for a string of cheques that bounced during her shopping spree, according to l'Est Republicain, the regional daily.

据当地一家名为“东部共和报”的日报报道，该女子住在法国东部的杜省，已身为人母。她因在购物狂欢过程中所开的“空头支票”，近日被控欺诈罪。

Once she realised her terrible mistake, the woman made matters worse by inventing a story that her handbag had been stolen in a bid not to have to pay back the cash. She even burned the handbag to get rid of the evidence. However, she was caught on several shop security cameras writing out cheques and charged.

当意识到自己犯了可怕的错误后，她又一错再错：为了逃避偿还欠款，她谎称自己的手提包被偷了。她甚至将手提包烧掉以毁灭证据。然而，她写支票付款的画面已被多家店铺的摄像监控录下。她也因此被起诉。

After initially denied fraud, the woman broke down in court to admit the charges. Understanding shop-owners had already contacted her to suggest payment in instalments, but she has still not refunded them, saying she was "too afraid and ashamed" to do so. However, she promised to do so now.

近日在接受审判时，女子虽然一开始极力否认欺诈，但随后当庭崩溃，承认了指控。宽容的店家们此前已经联系过她，告诉她可以通过分期付款来偿还债务。但她仍然没有向他们进行赔付，她称自己是因为“太害怕、太羞愧”才没回去还款。不过她承诺从现在开始偿还。

The Besanson court handed her a four-month suspended sentence and ordered her to work and to repay her debts.

贝桑松法院对她下达了4个月缓刑的判决，要求她边工作边还债。
