环球之旅:Baskunchak湖和bogdo山之行

You should take a car ride and drive right on the water to get to Baskunchak.

To get into the water, you should go down the stairs covered in salt.

There are following facilities on the beach: a shower, a restroom, and a changing room.

Mount Bogdo can be seen in the distance.

According to an old legend, Mount Bogdo used to be located on the bank of the Ural River. One day two saint Kalmyks decided to bring it to the bank of the Volga River. Until now one of the sides of the mount is red.
