show one's cards 摊牌

【讲解】

cards在此指“纸牌”，例如:a pack of cards（一副牌）。此语原为牌戏用语，直译为“摊牌”。玩扑克牌到最后，各方都把手中的牌亮出来，以决胜负。此语还常比喻“公布自己的打算”或“表明自己的真实目的或立场、意见、计划等”。也可写作show one’s hand或put/lay one’s cards on the table。
