【口语讲解】curry favor
curry favor就是拍马屁的意思。字面意思不是咖喱口味么？这个俚语搞笑了，话说咖喱口味跟拍马屁有啥关系咧？难不成是用咖喱来拍柒的马屁么？（好爱吃咖喱哇~~Yummy！）其实这个词的来源是法语：curry不是咖喱，而是法语词conraier，意思是“准备”；同时favor也不是口味，而是法语词 favel，表示“马屁精”。这样就理顺了，conraier favel到了英文当中渐渐就因为发音相近变成了curry favor，有意思吧？
