"It's killing me." 是表示某事很折腾人的意思。如"Her singing is killing me." 她的歌声(很恐怖)简直要我的命!
You flatter me. 你过奖了!
A: Ron. I saw your art show last night, and I must let you know how amazed I was by your incredible accomplishments.
A: Ron, 我昨天参观了你的美术展。 我一定要告诉你我对你的卓越成就感到多么惊觃。
B: Oh, you flatter me.

Brush off 不理睬
A: Have you talked to Mr. Smith about Ben's obscene speech towards you?
A: 你跟 Smith 先生提过 Ben对你讲的猥亵的话吗?
B: Yes, but he brushed it off as if it were not a big deal to him.
B: 有! 但他轻轻带过(不理), 好像觉得那并没有什么!
"brush away(aside)" 也是“不理”的意思。如"He brushed aside our objection."(他无视我们的反对)。
come on to 对某人轻薄,吃某人豆腐
come on to 的意思是“对某人轻薄，吃某人豆腐”
Tracy slapped Joe after he came on to her.
Tracy在Joe对她轻薄之后打了他一巴掌。
stand someone up 放（某人）鸽子
stand someone up，大家如果是第一次看到，想必多半是满头雾水，怎么单词全都认识，意思却完全猜不出来。其实stand someone up的意思就是放（某人）鸽子，这么简单又实用的句子，可得赶快记起来.
hands-off的意思是不插手的, 不干涉的，可以引申为顺其自然的。
He takes a hands-off approach when it comes to raising his children.

laid back在俚语中主要有两个意思。
第一个解释：放松，悠闲，冷静(relaxed, calm, not anxious)
Very cool laid back vibe.

第二个解释：脾气好，对事情不计较，很少争吵。
A: Is Jason all ticked off that we trashed his house?
关于我们把他家弄乱这件事，杰森生气了吗？
B: Nah, he's so laid back that nothing irritates him.
没有（美国俚语中Nah=No），他脾气很好，几乎没有什么事会激怒他。

"It's killing me." 是表示某事很折腾人的意思。

"Beats me!" 是“我也不懂”的意思。
“我不懂”还可用"I have no idea."、"I can't understand. "I don't dig it."。
"jerk" 是“人品差”的人。
Any time 不客气，有事尽管开口
A: Thank you for your help. I really appreciate it.
A: 谢谢你的帮忙, 我真的很感谢。
B: Any time.
B: 不用客气!
当别人向我们道谢时, 我们除了可以用"You're welcome."(不客气!)外, 还可以用"Any time.", 意思是“不用客气! 有事随时开口。”的意思。这句话真的很常用。
Count me in 算我一个
A: Janet and I are looking for a good gym to join. Do you think you'd be interested, too?
A: Janet 跟我正在找个好的健身房来健身呢。你有兴趣吗?
B: Why not? Count me in.
B: 怎么会没有呢? 算我一个!
年轻人中有不少喜欢上健身房, 让自己练出一些肌肉来。 尤其是男孩子, 如果练出个所谓的“洗衣板般的腹肌”(washboard abs), 是会引起很多女子尖叫的。“运动”除了用"exercise" 这个字外, 还可以用"work out" 来表示。实际上在一般的日常对话里, 用 "work out" 的机率还大过 "exercise" ! "exercise" 反而是像医生之类的比较会用。如果要表示自己一个礼拜运动三天, 就可以说:"I work out three times a week."。
"count me in" 是“把我也算进去!”的意思。毕竟 很多时候要和新认识的朋友熟络起来, 是要靠一些共同参与的活动来培养的。那么"Count me out." 应该是“我不想有份”的意思啰! 不过我想 "Count me out!" 还是用来对比较熟一点的朋友说吧! 不然显得比较无礼哦！

"good for you" 是某人(将要或已经)做一件对他自己有益的事时, 所表示“认同”的话。
例如一个不爱运动的人告诉你, 他要开始每天运动了, 你就可以回答"Good for you!"。

A: 我的车好了吗?
B: Yep! We just need to get this paper work done and you'll be all set.
B: 是的! 我们只要把这份“文件”完成, 你就一切都准备妥当了!
有时, 你到超市买东西, 买完要付帐时, 店员也会对你说"Are you all set?"。意思是问你是否想买的东西都找到了。
"paper work" 是指像“契约”、“证明”等等之类的文书表格。
