里皮出任中国男足主帅 对阵卡塔尔或以恒大班底出战

Italian coach Marcello Lippi, 68, was named head coach of the Chinese men's national football team last Saturday by the Chinese Football Association (CFA).

上周六，中国足协任命现年68岁的意大利籍教练马塞洛·里皮为中国男足国家队主教练。

"I am proud to announce the start of a new adventure as coach of the Chinese national team," Lippi tweeted, after signing the contract with the CFA in Guangzhou.

里皮在广州与中国足协签订合同后发推文称："我自豪地宣布，我即将开始一段新的冒险之旅--担任中国队主帅。"

Lippi is reportedly being paid about 20 million euros a year in a three-year contract with the CFA.

据报道，里皮与中国足协的合同为期三年，年薪约为2000万欧元。

Lippi is one of the world's most famous coaches. He guided Juventus to a European championship in 1996, Italy to a World Cup victory in 2006, and Guangzhou Evergrande to the Asian championship in 2013.

里皮是世界上最著名的教练之一：1996年带领尤文图斯获得欧冠冠军，2006年率领意大利队夺得世界杯冠军，2013年带领广州恒大获得亚冠冠军。

Chinese soccer will develop along more professional lines and the national team is expected to perform better in major international tournaments, following the hiring of Lippi, soccer insiders say.

足球业内人士称，里皮执教后，中国足球事业的发展将更加专业化，国足有望在各项重大国际比赛中有更好的表现。

His first match in charge will be the World Cup qualifier against Qatar in Kunming on November 15.

他上任后的第一场比赛将是11月15日在昆明，在世界杯预选赛中迎战卡塔尔国家队。

Lippi said that the training list for the Qatar game would be announced soon and that he would be taking a number of players from the Evergrande team to form the basis for his China squad.
