职场英语日记 第39期:无三不成礼

This has been such a great day so far. First, we had a staff meeting this morning and I got some very positive feedback on the project I finished last week. What a relief! Everyone congratulated me on doing such a good job. It feels so good to be valued and acknowleded.

到目前为止，还没有像今天这样那么让人开心。首先呢，我们今早开了员工会议，我上个星期完成的项目得到一些相当正面的回馈意见，让我松了一口气!大家都来恭喜我做得好。被人重视和肯定的感觉真好。

After the meeting I went to lunch with my colleagues and it turned into a party! We were there for most of the afternoon and then we were allowed to go home early to start the weekend. It really makes all that work and stress last week feel worthwhile.

开完会后，我和同事本来只是要去吃午餐，结果竟变成开派对!我们在那里待了差不多整个下午，公司还准许我们早点回家提前过周末。没想到会变这样，上星期所有的辛苦和压力都值得了。

Then my dad called me and asked me if I would like to go sailing with him next weekend. I haven't seen my dad in a long time because he lives about an hour away from me and he travels a lot.

后来我老爸又打电话来问我下个周末要不要和他去航海。老爸住的地方离我1小时，他又经常旅行，所以我好久没看到他了。

A weekend onhis sailboat with just the two of us will be a great way to catch up. I am so excited!

周末就我和他两个人一起坐他的帆船出海，这个主意太棒了。我好兴奋哦!
