On Sunday May 6th, the day morning, I walk to the center of street post office post. At the post office near the crossroads, I saw an unbelievable thing, a taxi after running the red light green with a white car collision. For a while, the police, the driver of the car was slightly wounded on admission, taxi driver and was taken to the police station processing.

A Traffic Accident One night Mr Lee was driving his wife home from work. She was a nurse in a hospital. It was almost midnight and she was quite tired out. She soon fell asleep. Mr Lee looked at her and smiled. Mr Lee was a careful and experienced driver. He knew it was safer to drive slowly on a dark night. After some time he noticed a car following him. It was travelling very fast. Suddenly it overtook① his car. The driver of the car was in a hurry. He did not see the approaching lorry. To avoid hitting it, he suddenly tuned his car. It skidded② off the road and hit a big tree. The driver and his passenger were injured③ were badly cut by glass from the broken windscreen④ Lee quickly stopped his car by the side of the road. His wife got out of the car to help the injured. The lorry driver also stopped to help. Mr Lee drove off to telephone the police . About twenty-five minutes later, a police car and an ambulance⑤ arrived. The injured were carried into the ambulance and taken to hospital. The policemen took down details of the accident. Mr Lee and the lorry driver told them all they could remember. The policemen thanked them for their help. Mr and Mrs Lee got into their car and continued their journey home.

he ran so fast when crossing the street that he didn’t notice a speeding car came round the corner. i was scared and shouted at him to stop, but it was too late. the boy was knocked down by the car. i hurried to the boy, crying for help. but the driver didn’t stop and drove away. the boy was bleeding when the policemen and doctors arrived. then the boy was taken to the hospital at once. a policeman asked me some questions, but i was of no help, because i didn’t get a look at the number of the car.
later, i learned the boy died because he lost too much blood. i was so sad and i will never forget this terrible accident.

in recent years, a lot of news about people injured or killed by cars on roads can be heard or seen, which shows us that traffic accidents have been increasing.
but why are there so many such magic events? is it just because more cars are running on the roads with the development of economy, or because the road conditions can't meet the requirement of cars? i think maybe that's only one part of the reason. the safety awareness seems much more important in the cause of road accidents. as we all know, quite a lot of traffic accidents are due to the drivers who drive cars after drinking. drunk drivers' mind is vague, and they can't control themselves and the car well, so they can easily spoil other's happiness out of consciousness.
having realized the main reason and sad effect of the car accidents, we can find some ways to avoid or decrease the accidents. in addition to the improvement of traffic conditions, people must beobliged to obey the traffic rules. everyone should understand the meaning of life and be careful when driving.
