海外红色之旅 渐成出游风尚

China's "Red tourism" or trips to historical sites linked with China's communist history, has boomed in recent years.

近年来，我国的"红色旅游"(即去与中国共产党党史有关的历史遗迹旅游)迅速兴起。

This is not a new trend for Chinese tourists and now they are looking for a taste of this tourism abroad, and journeying into "other countries' pasts".

对国内游客来说，红色旅游已算不上新潮，如今他们正寻求领略海外红色旅游，探访"别国的过去"。

A surging number of Chinese tourists have visited the German birthplaces of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels in the last few years. Karl Marx's house in Trier was visited by nearly 100,000 Chinese in 2015.

过去几年中，越来越多的中国游客赴德参观马克思和恩格斯的出生地。2015年，有近10万中国人参观了特里尔的马克思故居。

Russia is another top "red tourist" destination for Chinese. Around 1 million Chinese visited Russia last year, making China the largest source of foreign tourists for Russia.

俄罗斯是国人的另一大"红色旅游"目的地。去年，约100万中国人赴俄旅游，使中国成为俄罗斯最大的外国游客客源国。

Unsurprisingly, a must-see attraction for Chinese was Russian communist revolutionary Vladimir Lenin's birthplace in Ulyanovsk.

意料之中的，中国游客一定会去参观的景点就是共产主义革命家弗拉基米尔·列宁的出生地乌里扬诺夫斯克。

"Red tourism" in China is associated with visiting the revolutionary sites of the Communist Party of China. Both the Chinese national flag and the Communist flag share the color red, so these historical sites are also named "red sites".

中国国内的“红色旅游”是指前往参观中国共产党的革命地。由于中国国旗和共产党旗帜的颜色都是红色的，所以这些历史地点也被称为“红色景点”。

Meanwhile, increasingly foreign tourists are attracted to Chinese "red sites". Hunan, according to China Daily, is one of the favorite destinations for Russian tourists.

与此同时，中国的"红色景点"也正吸引着越来越多的外国游客。据《中国日报》报道，湖南是俄罗斯游客最青睐的目的地之一。
