这是S和B在谈心的时候B说的一句话…B向S抱怨最近都没和Chuck怎么交流,而B说这句话的意思就是,他什么都不告诉我.
我们来看看shut sb out的具体含义.
shut sb out: to not allow a person to share or be part of your thoughts 把某人排除在...外;不把...告诉某人
I wanted to shut John out of my life for ever. 我想永远不让约翰走进我的生活.
If you shut me out, how can I help you? 如果你什么也不告诉我,我怎么帮你呢?

2.B: Normally I'd chalk it up to just him being him.通常我会觉得这就是他的作风.

Chalk sth up to sth是美式英语,意思就是把某事归因于---to consider that something is caused by something

Trick就是"花招,诡计"的意思."try all my tricks"有点机关算尽的感觉^.^
关于trick的另外一个在美剧中常见的表达是"do the trick",意思就是"奏效".

7. "Friend" is a pretty loose term right now. 用"朋友"一词是不准确的.

Term就是表达,loose有"不精确的;不严谨的;不周密的"的意思. 所以loose term的意思大概就是"不准确的表达/说法".
