上海推出全国首本小学女生定制教材《花样女孩》

Primary schools in Shanghai have started using a text book specifically targeted at girls, Xinmin Evening News reports.

据《新民晚报》报道，上海的小学已经正式开始使用专门面向女孩的一套教科书了。

"Little Girl", published by the Shanghai Educational Publishing House, is aimed at girls aged around ten years old.

由上海教育出版社出版的《花样女孩》，是专为十岁左右的女孩订制的。

The publishers say the book is designed to guide from the girl's point of view. In the past it was felt many textbooks had a "preaching" tone towards young female readers.

出版商称，这本书是从女孩的视角去设计、引导。在过去，许多教科书对年轻的女性读者都有一种“说教”的语气。

With a total of six chapters, the textbook covers a wide range of basic knowledge with chapter headings such as "I'm a girl"," The pursuit of beauty", "Protect yourself", " Interpersonal wealth" as well as "Angel of love and Embrace the future ".

据悉，该教材共分为六个章节，涵盖了范围广泛的基础知识，每章节的标题有《我是女孩》、《美的追求》、《保护好自己》、《人际财富》、《爱心天使》以及《拥抱未来》。

It contains important messages, such as "everyone has a 'restricted area' on her body. Nobody can touch it or look at it without your permission".

这套书内有一些重要的信息，比如“每个女孩的身体都有一个'禁区'，没有得到本人的允许是不可以随便触摸或者查看的。”

It also offers various scenarios to help girls improve their awareness of self-protection.

此外，该教材还设计了多种场景，帮助女孩提高自我保护意识。

Shanghai is the first place in China to provide textbooks for primary school boys and girls respectively. "Little Man" was published in August, 2016.

上海是我国第一个为小学男生和女生分别提供教科书的地区。教材《小小男子汉》则于2016年8月出版。
