Though Adele's rep is not confirming the birth, sources tell The Daily Mail — and other U.K.-based publications — that the couple had a boy and are "ecstatic" over their new status as parents.

"I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we're over the moon and are very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time."

And the singer certainly has maintained a private life — Adele has kept mum about her pregnancy, as noted by sources to People earlier this month. "She is just thrilled," People's source said. "She is totally laying low and nesting." And it seems she might continue to do so. Adele told Vogue in February, "I am f**king off for four or five years. If I am constantly working, my relationships fail. So at least now I can have enough time to write a happy record. And be in love and be happy." At least we have "Skyfall"?
