我国内地白领第三季度工资持续上涨

Competition for white collar workers, such as office and administrative positions, has eased to an extent on the Chinese mainland, while the average monthly salary has risen, a new survey has found.

一项最新调查显示，中国内地办公室行政类白领职位的竞争有所缓和，月均工资有所上涨。

Competition for these jobs in the third quarter of this year eased, with only 38 people applying for one vacancy, compared to the 45 and 48 applicants in the last two quarters respectively.

今年第三季度办公室行政类白领职位的竞争趋缓，平均只有38人竞争一个职位，相比第二季度的45人和第一季度的48人有所减少。

In the third quarter, the average monthly salary of white collar workers across the Chinese mainland rose 4.1% to 7,531 yuan, an increase of around 300 yuan over the second quarter.

第三季度，内地白领月均工资上涨4.1%，至7531元，环比增幅近300元。

White collar workers earned the highest average salary in Beijing, around 10,000 yuan a month, followed by Shanghai with 9,642 yuan and Shenzhen with 8,582 yuan.

Guo Sheng, chief executive and director of , said the job market in the third quarter continued to improve as the economy steadied. He predicted further improvements for the rest of the year.

According to job advertisements in the third quarter, first-tier cities have the largest demand for white collar workers, including Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Guangzhou.

Some local central business districts and second-tier and third-tier cities such as Zhengzhou, Chengdu, Tianjin, Xi'an and Wuhan also have demand.
