麦当劳最早广告曝光 原型竟是稻草人

If you grew up with a deep-seated fear of clowns, then it's probably best to look away now. A newly-uncovered video has revealed Ronald McDonald as he made his 1963 debut - and he looks distinctly creepy. With a drink cup for a nose and a food tray for a hat, the original Ronald resembles a scarecrow more than a clown. If he looks familiar it's because he was played by Willard Scott, who went on to become the weatherman for NBC's Today programme.

麦当劳快餐标志“M”以“金色拱门”的品牌形象示人，早年时期以推广健康食品，比如：沙拉、果汁等作为自己的营销策略。在这则广告中，麦当劳叔叔显示出非凡的吃汉堡的能力，以一个特别腰带为道具，魔术般的变出3个汉堡，最后画面一切，麦当劳快餐店跳出。据悉， 麦当劳叔叔是麦当劳速食连锁店的招牌吉祥物和企业的形象代言人，官方设定本名叫作罗纳德·麦当劳（Ronald McDonald），是友谊、风趣、祥和的象征，他总是传统马戏小丑打扮，黄色连衫裤，红白条的衬衣和短袜，大红鞋，黄手套，一头红发。他在美国4－9岁儿童心中，是仅次于圣诞老人的第二个最熟悉的人物，他象征着麦当劳永远是大家的朋友。 此外，作为麦当劳公司用以吸引小朋友的主要虚拟角色，因此官方将麦当劳叔叔设定为“孩童最好的朋友”。这则广告最初是在2008年的时候被人放在视频网站Youtube上，但是没有引起大家的注意，直到现在才被挖出来“重见天日”。
