Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder表示“情人眼里出西施”,其中beholder意为“目睹者”。

eg:It's beyond me that Mary would like to marry James. There is an ugly scar on his face.

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Don't be so shallow.

This is the best thing in the history呢? This is the best thing since sliced bread,这里的sliced bread指“切片面包”

There is no such thing as a free lunch.

eg:I hear bread is free now in that supermarket. Let's go and get some!

There is no such thing as a free lunch. It's just a trick.

大家一定想到了You are very lucky,然而更地道的说法则是:God is shining on you.

eg:You know what, I just won a lottery prize.

Oh,God is shining on you!

Practice makes perfect.

eg:My oral English is so poor that I'm nervous when talking with foreigners.

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again.
