舌尖上的美国(28):请客篇(上)

当你升职加薪，或是比赛胜利等等很多时候，你都会需要请客。那么在请客的时候我们怎样大方得体的请客呢？今天我们就好好来谈谈。

当你想请别人吃一个冰淇淋时，该如何说呢？很简单，只要一句“I'll treat you to ice cream.”就行了。这天，Susan就请她的中国朋友Mary和Linda到快餐馆吃饭。

S: Here we are. This is my favourite place.

（到了，这里就是我最喜欢的地方）

M: How many times have you come here?

（你来过这里几次啊）

S: I never counted.

（从来没有算过）

L: I'd like to sit near the window.

（我想坐靠窗户的位置）

S: Please be seated. It's my treat today.

（请坐吧，今天我请客）

M: Fast food restaurants are popular now.

（现在快餐店很受欢迎啊）

L: They are popular for quick, inexpensive meals or snacks.

（他们的饭或者小吃因为快速而又便宜而受欢迎）

S: What would you like to eat?

（你想吃什么）

L: I'll try a steak sandwich with a hamburger.

（我想要一份牛排三明治和一个汉堡）

M: Sounds good. I think I'll have the same.

（听起来不错，我也要一样的）

S: Want something to drink?

（想要喝点什么吗）

L: Coke, please.

（可乐，谢谢）

M: A cup of hot chocolate would be fine.

（一杯热巧克力吧）

Notes：

1. It's my treat today.今天我请客，treat是请客的意思，在这里作名词。

It's my treat. One Bill, please.

我请客。开在一起吧。

Don't worry. I've got money. It's my treat.

别担心，我有钱。我请你。

It's my treat. It's on me . Let me pay. Be my guest . I'm paying . I got it. Don't say word . It's my pleasure. Next time you can pay.

我请客。我请客。让我付钱。我请客，我来买单。不要争，这是我的荣幸。下次你可以付。

would you like to eat?你想要吃什么

在请客的时候，一定不要自己自作主张，应该先问对方想吃什么，不要自己一股脑全部点了，这就有点不像是在请客了。下期节目中我们将就这个问题继续深入。
