国家统计局发布数据 三季度GDP同比增长6.7%

China's gross domestic product (GDP) expanded 6.7% year on year in the third quarter of 2016, stable from the second quarter, according to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) last Wednesday.

国家统计局上周三公布的数据显示，今年第三季度，我国国内生产总值(GDP)同比增长6.7%，与第二季度持平。

The figure remained within the government's targeted range of between 6.5% and 7% for 2016.

这一数字仍然位于6.5%到7%的政府年度目标区间。

On a quarterly basis, the economy increased 1.8% from the second quarter.

从环比看，三季度GDP较上个季度增长1.8%。

GDP expanded 6.7% year on year in the first three quarters of 2016 to reach 52.997 trillion yuan.

今年前三个季度，我国GDP为529971亿元，同比增长6.7%。

NBS spokesperson Sheng Laiyun said China's economy grew steadily with progress made and quality improved in the first nine months of the year, as a result of appropriately expanded aggregate demand, the supply-side structural reform, positive development anticipation and accelerated fostering of new drivers.

国家统计局发言人盛来运表示，在适度扩大总需求、推进供给侧结构性改革、引导良好发展预期和加快培育新动能的综合作用下，前三季度国民经济平稳增长、稳中有进、稳中提质。

In the first three quarters, thanks largely to strong performance in the high-tech and equipment manufacturing sectors, China's value-added industrial output increased by 6 percent, the same level compared to the first half.

在前三个季度，得益于高新技术和装备制造业的强劲表现，中国工业增加值增长6%，相比上半年保持同一水平。

Sheng said China is on the right track to implement five key tasks of supply-side reform and has achieved "fruitful results," but more efforts are needed to upgrade economic structure to ensure that the nation is able to achieve the annual growth target.

盛来运表示，中国正行驶在落实供给侧改革五项重点任务的正确轨道上，并且已经取得丰硕成果，但是我国仍需要更多的努力来优化经济结构，以确保能够实现年度增长目标。
