穿着女性化 两名新加坡男子在阿联酋被判入狱一年

Two Singaporean men have been each sentenced to a year's jail in Abu Dhabi for wearing women's clothes.

近日，两名新加坡男性因为在阿布扎比身穿女性服饰，而各自被判刑一年。

Freelance fashion photographer Muhammad Fadli Bin Abdul Rahman, 26, was in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), for work.

26岁的自由时装摄影师穆罕默德·法德利·本·阿卜杜勒·拉赫曼在阿拉伯联合酋长国的首府阿布扎比工作。

Mr Fadli was travelling with his friend Nur, 37. Nur is a transgender person who has legally changed the name but has not undergone a sex-change operation to become a woman.

当时，法德利先生正和他37岁的朋友努尔一起旅行。努尔是一个合法更改了姓名的变性人，但并没做成为女性的变性手术。

Speaking to The Straits Times, Nur's 34-year-old younger sister said: "Nur has not undergone gender reassignment surgery, so her personal documents still state her gender as male. We are a very close-knit family and are very worried for her."

努尔34岁的妹妹向《海峡时报》透露：“努尔还没做变性手术，所以她的个人文件上的性别仍是男性。我们的家庭关系很紧密，大家都非常担心她。”

Mr Fadli and Nur landed in Abu Dhabi on Aug 8, and were arrested at the food court of a shopping mall the next day.

法德利和努尔于8月8日抵达阿布扎比，第二天在购物商城的食品区被捕。

An official court document in Arabic said two Singaporean men were caught wearing women's clothes in public, and for behaving indecently.

一则阿拉伯官方的法庭文件指出，这两名新加坡男子在公共场合被抓到穿着女装并且举止不雅。

Cross-dressing, homosexuality and being transgender are crimes in the UAE.

穿着异性服装、同性恋和变性，这些在阿联酋都是违法的。
