职场英语日记 第53期:堤防上的女生悄悄话

It's finally starting to get light enough outside in the evenings to go outdoorsy stuff after work. Tonight Shawna, Danielle, and I went for a walk along the dike. It was a beautiful spring evening and there were lots of people out walking their dos or riding their bikes.

傍晚的户外终于够亮，可以下班后做点户外活动了。萧娜、丹妮尔和我今晚沿着堤坝一起散步。春天的傍晚真美，很多人都在外面逻狗或骑自行车。

Shawna brought Biggles, her little Chihuahua puppy, but he was too small to walk the whole way. When he got tired she out him inside herjacket and carried him. He was so cute! His little face was noking out of the zipper, and I swear he was smiling.

萧娜带了她那只小吉娃娃毕格斯，不过它太小了，走不完整条路。如果它走累了，萧娜就会把它放进夹克里带着。它好可爱!一张小脸还从拉链里伸出来，我敢说它一定是在笑。

Dnaielle told me that her brother is getting married next fall and she is really looking forward to the wedding.

丹妮尔告诉我她哥哥明年秋天要结婚了，她好期待参加婚礼。

They are getting married on the beach in Cuba, so she'll have a nice vacation with hr family as well. I asked her if she and her boyfriend, Roland, were planning on getting engaged soon and she said they have talked about it but she wants to wait until she's finished school.

他们要在古巴海滩上结婚，所以她也会和家人快乐地去度假。我问她和她朋友罗兰有没有打算早点订婚，她说他们讨论过，但她希望等自己完成学业后再说。

Everuone seems to happy. I'm happy, too. They both said they approve of Sean and can see that I am completely smitten with him. I love my friends.

大家似乎都很快乐，我也是。他们都对西福恩很赞许，看得出来我完全被他迷住了。真是好朋友，我爱他们。
