3.详细解说

1.“Long time no see.”的意思是“好久不见”,相当于“Haven't seen you for a lone time.”或“Haven't seen You for ages.”。属
于非正式英语口语。
2.“though”在这里的意思是“然而,可是”,多用于口语。作此义讲时,“though”一般置于句尾。例如:It was hard work;I enjoyed it though.(那工作很辛苦,但我却做得很愉快。)
3.“GRE”是“Graduate Record Examination”的缩写,指“美国研究生入学考试”。
4.英语中有一些词,它们可以表示否定含义:hardly几乎不、rarely很少、 few没几个、little没多少、seldom很少、 scarcely极少、
never从不。当这些词放在句首时,句子要用倒装结构,例如对话中的“I can hardly sleep these days.”,若要将“hardly”提前,就要将这个句子改成“Hardly can I sleep these days.”的形式。
