408. 不管他做什么，你得容忍他。

[误] No matter what he does, you must abide by him.

[正] No matter what he does, you must abide him.

注：abide 作“忍受”、“容忍”解时是及物动词，其后接宾语时不用介词。但 abide 作“遵守（法律、诺言、决定等）”、“坚持（观点等）”解时是不及物动词，后接宾语时要说 abide by。
