《第九区》导演欲拍恐怖电影备受期待

自2009年的《第九区》取得了巨大的成功之后，导演尼尔-布洛姆坎普正在忙着准备开拍新片——恐怖惊悚电影《极乐世界》。好莱坞媒体的报道，著名女星朱迪-福斯特是最新加盟该片的一位演员，在这之前，男演员马特-达蒙也宣布将出演此片，而在《第九区》中已经与布洛姆坎普的演员沙尔托-科普雷也将在电影中出现。《极乐世界》的剧本也是由尼尔-布洛姆坎普撰写，并且守口如瓶，不愿多透露，导演目前正在各大厂牌间兜售剧本。
　　据悉，《极乐世界》将和《第九区》一样，通过科幻片的外壳来讲述严肃的社会问题。尼尔-布洛姆坎普出生于南非，首部电影处女作便是由大导演彼得-杰克逊担当制片，并获得了奥斯卡“最佳影片”的提名，这也使得尼尔在好莱坞声名大振。《极乐世界》预计将于2012登陆院线。

Actress Jodie Foster is the latest high-profile star to sign onto Neill Blomkamp's new thriller Elysium.

Foster will join Sharlto Copley, who starred in Neill Blomkamp's big-screen debut District 9, as well as Matt Damon, who we reported was circling the project last month, and is now confirmed for the cast.

Blomkamp will direct Elysium from his own script, which has been kept under tight wraps. All that is known about this sci-fi thriller is that it will be set on another planet in the distant future.

Media Rights Capital is backing the project and, although Elysium hasn't been shopped around to studios yet, it is believed to be making the studio rounds after the full cast is in place.

Elysium comes to theaters in 2012 and stars Sharlto Copley, Matt Damon, Jodie Foster. The film is directed by Neill Blomkamp.
