国家卫生健康委员会上周六建议，倡导在工作地过年，减少春节假期的旅行，以阻止新冠肺炎的传播。

Chinese New Year holiday是春节假期。
国家卫生健康委员会副主任曾益新在发布会上表示，今冬明春疫情防控（the prevention and control of the pandemic）形势依然严峻复杂，任务艰巨繁重。特别是春节即将到来，境外回国人员增多（increasing number of people returning from abroad），境内人员流动性大（large people migrations across the country），聚集性活动（gatherings）特别是室内活动多，进口冷链食品（imported cold chain goods）和货物的流量增大，将加大疫情传播的风险。
曾益新表示，为降低疾病传播的风险（reduce the risk of disease spread），要引导错峰出行（staggered travel）和线上消费（online consumption），优化（optimize）和错峰安排学校寒假（winter holidays）放假、春季开学（the start of the spring semester）的时间。
他指出，要倡导在工作地过年，尽可能减少人员流动（reduce the movement of people as much as possible），严控交通客流（the flow of traffic should be strictly controlled）。
另外，对会议活动（conference events）、景区参观旅游（scenic tours）和各种公共场所（public places），都要严格遵守各地的相关规定（strictly comply with the relevant local regulations），以及对人员控制的要求。
曾益新指出，要及时发现和报告感染病例，适当扩大“应检尽检”核酸检测范围（nucleic acid testing），增加定期检测频次。强化境外输入物品（imported goods）的检测能力，加强高风险人群的个人防护措施（the protection for personnel who work at high-risk posts）。
医疗机构（medical institutions）要定期开展检查（carry out regular inspections），配齐配足设备、人员（allocate adequate equipment and personnel），严格发热病人（fever patients）闭环管理的要求。
各地还要强化聚集性疫情应急处置（strengthen emergency response to gatherings），组织开展实操性演练（practical exercises），强化疾控（disease control）、医疗（medical care）、检测、流行病学调查等方面的培训。
他还表示，各地要确保按照计划按时、规范、安全（in a standardized and safe manner）完成新冠疫苗接种（vaccination），妥善做好预防接种疑似异常反应（suspected abnormal reactions to vaccination）的监测报告和处置工作。
