I'm assigned to come here to settle the claim you lodged against us for our shipping wrong goods.

I propose we compensate you by 3% of the total value,plus inspection fee.

对于某些特殊商品,特别是需要经过一段时间的存放和使用后才能发现质量和性能方面问题的商品,合同中应规定有质量保证期。质量保证期是指买方在接受卖方提交货物后,在保存或使用中发现进口商品质量问题而向卖方索赔的时间期限。具体时间期限,应根据商品特点和贸易条件而定,起算日最好定为买方收货后检验、验收、启用之日或安装调试完毕之日。关于索赔期限很重要的问题是索赔开始计算的时间,根据国际上的惯例,索赔期限的起算时间通常有以下几种算法:[qh]
1.货物到达目的港后××天起算;[qh]
2.货物到达目的港卸离海轮后××天起算;[qh]
3.货物到达买方营业地或用户所在地后××天起算;[qh]
4.货物经检验后××天起算。[qh]
以上几种起算时间,以货物到达目的港卸离海轮后××天起算较为合理,对收货、用贷部门都是比较合理的。[qh]
