1.“room key”指“房间钥匙”，现在一般宾馆的“room key”都选用一种卡片，称作钥匙卡，英文叫“key card”。[qh]
2.英美关于楼层的表达方法不一致，需要注意。美国和我国的数法相同，英国把一楼称为“the ground floor”，二楼起分别称为“the first floor，the second floor...”。此外，“story”也可以表示“层”，但“floor”是把观点放在建筑物内部的说法，而“story”则是反映从外部看到的包含各层高度的空间，因而要说“…层建筑”的时候要使用“story”，对于这个词，英美的用法相同，例如：a building of 4 stories（一幢4层的建筑）。英式英语中把“story”拼写成“storey”。[qh]

饭店客房状态[qh]

在饭店里，客房通常分为以下几种状态：[qh]
住入房（Occupied，简写为OCC），即客人正在住用的客房。[qh]
走人房（Check Out，简写为CO），表示客人已结账并已离开的客房。[qh]
空房（Vacant，简写为V），表示暂时无人租用的客房。[qh]
未清扫空房（Vacant Dirty，简写为VD），表示没有经过打扫的空房。[qh]
外宿房（Sleep Out，简写为S/O），表示该客房已被租用，但住客昨夜未归的客房。[qh]
维修房（Out Of Order．简写为OOO），表示因设施设备发生故障，暂不能租给住客。[qh]
已清扫空房（Vacant Clean．简写为VC），亦称OK房，表示该客房已清扫完毕，可以重新租给住客。[qh]
请勿打扰房（Do Not Disturb，简写为DND），表示该客房的客人因睡眠或其他原因不愿服务人员打扰。[qh]
贵宾房（Very Important Person．简写为VIP）V表示该客房住客是饭店的重要客人。[qh]
常住房（Long Staying Person．简写为LSP），又称“长包房”，即长期由客人包租的客房。[qh]
请即打扫房（Make Up Room．简写为MUR），表示因人为或其他原因需服务人员立即打扫的客房。[qh]
轻便行李房（Little Baggage，简写为LB），表示住客行李很少的客房。[qh]
无行李房（No Baggage，简写为NB），表示住客无行李的客房。[qh]
准备退房（Expected Departure，简写为ED），表示该客房住客应在当天中午12:00以前退房。[qh]
加床房（Extra Bed，简写为EB），表示该客房有加床。[qh]
