特朗普语出惊人 称韩国曾是中国的一部分

South Korea has demanded Donald Trump correct his statement after saying Korea "used to be part of China" following his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.

唐纳德·特朗普在和中国国家主席习近平于佛罗里达州马尔拉格度假村的别墅进行会晤时称，“韩国曾是中国的一部分”，这之后，韩国政府已经要求特朗普更正这一不当言论。

"It's a clear fact acknowledged by the international community that, for thousands of years of history, Korea has never been part of China," foreign ministry spokesman Cho June Hyuck told Bloomberg News in Seoul.

韩国外交部发言人赵俊赫在首尔接受彭博社采访时表示：“国际社会所公认的是，在数千年的历史上，韩国并非是中国的一部分。”

In an interview with the Wall Street Journal on April 12, Trump said that President Jinping discussed the history of China and Korea.

在4月12日接受《华尔街日报》采访时，特朗普称，中国国家主席习近平曾就中国与韩国的历史进行了讨论。

"And you know, you're talking about thousands of years … and many wars. And Korea actually used to be a part of China. And after listening for 10 minutes, I realized that not — it's not so easy," he recounted.

特朗普叙述道：“你知道的，这涉及到上千年的历史以及许多场战争。而韩国曾经是中国的一部分，听了十分钟之后，我发现事情并没有那么简单。”

According to Quartz, there are two times in history that the Korean Peninsula could be mistaken for being part of China.

据媒体Quartz报道，朝鲜半岛在历史上曾经有两次被误认为并入中国版图。

One was during the Han Dynasty when China created four "commanderies" in the northern part of the peninsula. Some Chinese historians argue that this makes Korea part of "Chinese local history."

一次是在汉朝，当时中国在朝鲜半岛的北部设立了四个“郡”。而中国的一些历史学家认为，这实际上已经将韩国纳入了“中国地方志”当中。

The second Moment was during the Mongol empire's rule in the 13th century.

而第二次则是在13世纪时蒙古帝国统治的时期。
