A China Eastern plane made an emergency landing on Wednesday morning in Nanjing, East China's Jiangsu province, after a portable charger caught fire and triggered its smoke detectors.

周三早上，中国东航一架飞机在中国东部江苏省南京市紧急降落，原因是充电宝起火并触发烟雾报。

据南京禄口国际机场消息，从南京飞往厦门的东方航空MU2809航班（flight）在早上7点16分起飞（take off），后因故被迫返航（return to the airport due）。

机场安检部门（security department）经过调查发现，自燃的充电宝（portable charger）额定容量（capacity）40.7WH，符合安全要求（met security demands）。
依据中国规定，旅客在乘机过程中，充电宝等锂电池（lithium battery）产品，不可办理托运，必须随身携带，额定能量需在100WH以下（capacity of less than 100Wh），机上不可使用。
