1. lovebirds
要用复数形式哦，指的是热恋中的情侣。
Look at those two lovebirds holding hands and gazing into each other's eyes.
瞧那对恋人正手拉手深情对视呢。
还有两个甜蜜英语表达——
◎ lovey-dovey
lovey-dovey 是形容词，意思就是（在公开场合）卿卿我我的、过分亲热的。
◎ Public Display of Affection (PDA)
affection是喜爱；钟爱；挚爱，在公开场合展现的爱慕之情，就是秀恩爱啦！
2. spring sth on sb
spring的动词意思是“跳，跃，蹦“，把某物弹在某人身上，这里的意思是突然告诉（某人）；冷不防地问（某人）。
I hope he's not going to spring any nasty surprises on us at the meeting this morning.
我希望今天上午的会议他不会冷不防对我们说出一些让人讨厌的话来。
3. bad side
如果说bad side是这边脸不上相，那上相怎么说呢？
如果要形容某人上镜的，上相的，就可以用 photogenic 來形容。
Your daughter is very photogenic! She is a born model!
你的女儿非常上相！她是天生的模特！
4. high-strung
high-strung的意思是紧张的；易生气的，英式口语里是highly strung。
比如：
a high-strung young woman
神经紧张的年轻女子
a high-strung racehorse
易受惊的赛马
